    you sit in distain

I was a teenager during the height of the “missing and murdered children case” here in Atlanta. I remember one frantic evening when my younger brother was late getting home from a school event. I remember my mother breaking down into tears as we searched. We found him safe and sound, but you never forget the times you see your mother cry. Those moments are seared into your soul. Then, how much worse is it for the Trayvon Martin’s mother?

In fact, he’s so secure; he “might” even hook you up with one of his more marriage minded friends, if you tire of him.  But he’s not planning to ever marry. The whole concept is foreign to him. -         General Characteristics – Fine, sexy, smart and looking for a sponsor, a fact which they will let you know up front. They don’t’ care if you’re married, involved or single, as long as you pay their bills. Societal norms seem outdated to them. Their perspective is similar to the Free Agent (see field guide to men). She’s all about keeping things drama free and fun. She’s doesn’t want to marry you and she won’t ask you for anything. Being with her…

Goddess:

-         General Characteristics – Gorgeous and smart, they don’t need a man to support them. However, their mates are typically men who are very good at what they do, be it a doctor, a math teacher or whatever. They appreciate and can readily identify excellence in others.

-         Found in – Could be anywhere, but you know within five minutes of meeting one, that they are indeed the real thing.  

-         Relations after Marriage – They know it takes work…

Sometimes in life the hardest thing to do, is to do nothing... meaning, that life has taught me that you can't fix everything or everybody. Don't like it, but it's not meant for me to like, for I am evolving too.
